This is a 3rd grade workbook for the Mosdos Press Opal curriculum. It has six pages for each section found in the Opal Text (sold separately). Each unit has a Vocabulary Exercise 1, where students can use newly learned words, and a Vocabulary Exercise 2, which teaches synonyms, antonyms, parts of speech, word categorization, and word comparisons. A More about the Story creative writing activity and a Language Arts Activity page are included, providing practice with language arts skills, such as narrative elements, point of view, figurative language, and making predictions. The workbook also has a graphic organizer activity to emphasize the main idea and language arts skill, and allows students to think about their reading visually. Please note that this workbook cannot be used without the Opal Homeschool Bundle (sold separately). This is a consumable and non-reproducible softcover book.
