Description
Little Stories set includes small booklets containing phonetically controlled short stories, ideal for reinforcing the Orton-Gillingham (O-G) method. There are 7 booklets, each labeled with a group number, following the O-G sequence:
- Group I: 2 booklets (Tom and Jip and Fat Sam)
- Group II: 1 booklet (Ted and Kip)
- Group III: 1 booklet containing 2 stories (Jake and Kate and Sam and Jane)
- Group IV: 3 booklets (The Little Red Hen, Much Fun, and Tim Tadpole)
The set also includes yellow cards (7 x 6) with additional short stories for fluency practice, especially useful for struggling readers or students with language-based learning disabilities. The cards are labeled with group numbers. Skills addressed in the set include:
