Lesson Book 1 is all about getting started. In this book, you will learn important concepts like:

The first pieces you will play in this book are on the black keys. As you progress, you will learn to play notes C, D, and E with your right hand, and notes C, B, and A with your left hand. This is known as the Middle C position. To help you, the name of each note is written inside the note head using letter notes. Lesson Book 1 is recommended for ages 4-6.
