MPH Maths Pupil's Book 3B Bundle

The My Pals are Here Maths program from Singapore Math is a unique math curriculum designed to build math fluency and help students hone problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The Pupils Book 3B Bundle is an explanatory textbook and e-resourcebook that's designed to be used with the MPH Maths 3B Workbook (not included and sold-separately). Colorful and engaging, this textbook features step-by-step explanations in each chapter along with narrated thoughts from characters who are integrated throughout. In the included e-resource, animated chapter openers help engage students and reinforce what they've learned beyond the classroom. The Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach helps students understand progressively complex math concepts. At the concrete stage, learning is made manageable as new concepts are taught using real objects and real-life tasks. At the pictorial stage, students move from using objects to observing visual representations of what they had been using as manipulatives. Finally, at the abstract stage, students become fluent in using symbols and numbers to handle more sophisticated mathematical facts. This pedagogical progression is employed alongside a spiral approach where students are taught concepts that progressively become more complicated. As students return to study concepts in ever-greater depth, they're able to move between levels of difficulty with ease. Level 3B is designed for the second semester of Grade 3.
