Happy Cheetah Reading is a fun and easy way to learn how to read, which only takes 20 minutes a day! It doesn't matter if you're just starting to read, having trouble with reading, or if you're learning English or have special needs. This program covers everything you need to know to be successful in reading, writing, spelling, and grammar.
The program starts with handwriting because research shows that it's important for learning how to read. Then you'll move onto phonics, where you'll learn how sounds and letters are connected. The Getting Ready workbook will teach you how to print both capital and lowercase letters in an easy-to-learn sequence. It uses a special font to help you with common handwriting mistakes.
Once you've learned all the individual letters, you'll move onto beginning copywork (which helps with reading development) and then learn how to hear individual sounds in words (phonemic awareness). Finally, you'll practice writing numerals.
