Lower Secondary Science Matters Textbook Volume B

Developed in line with the 2013 Lower Secondary Science syllabus from the Ministry of Education Singapore, the Science Matters curriculum is designed to help students discover scientific knowledge through real-life contexts. The full-color glossy textbook pages feature visuals and infographics that provide an engaging and exciting way to learn new facts. Links explicitly connect concepts, and theme pages highlight the interconnectivity of various concepts. Volume B splits chapters between the themes Systems and Interactions. 8th-grade students will learn about transport systems in organisms, the human sexual reproductive system, electrical systems, forces, energy and work, sound, heat and matter, chemical changes, ecosystems, and more. The book contains 228 pages, indexed, in softcover. It is designed for Grade 8 students and is in its 2nd Edition.

Homeschoolers Please Note: This curriculum was not written from a Christian perspective and covers sex, sexuality, abortion, birth control, and menstruation. Illustrations of birth control methods and explicit diagrams of the human body are also included.
