Spelling You See Level A: Listen and Write is specifically designed for young students who are still learning letter names and sounds, as well as how to properly hold a pencil. When determining placement for this level, consider if the student can focus on a worksheet for at least 10 minutes, identify most letters of the alphabet, write letters comfortably, understand that letters make sounds, and answer yes to all these questions.
Listen and Write will provide lots of practice in writing individual letters and hearing the sounds they make in simple words. This course requires teacher instruction and a Listen and Write Student Workbook, which is sold separately.
